Advocate Ally exists to equip and empower neurodivergent individuals and families to navigate life, learning, and systems with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
Our mission is twofold:
To help parents advocate effectively for their neurodivergent children in schools through IEP and 504 support.
To help neurodivergent adults overcome executive dysfunction, burnout, and self-doubt so they can make sustainable progress in everyday life.
We believe every person—child or adult—deserves to be understood, supported, and celebrated for the way their brain works. Advocacy begins with awareness, and empowerment begins with tools that make the journey easier, not heavier.
Hey friend — I’m Courtney Kinslow, your favorite neurospicy wife and mama on a mission to help parents feel unapologetically equipped to advocate for their kids.
After being diagnosed with ADHD at 43 and walking through years of advocacy battles for my autistic son, I learned the hard way how confusing and exhausting IEPs and 504s can be. What started as one mom fighting for her child turned into a passion for helping families everywhere feel confident, informed, and supported.
Now through Advocate Ally, I’m here to simplify the process, break down the jargon, and empower you to walk into those meetings knowing your voice matters.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
